Pedro Elías Corro is a producer and DJ from Caracas, Venezuela, who grew up in the world of the local minitecas (mobile sound systems). DJing and digging for techno and Eurodance records from a young age inspired Baba to create a new form of dance music he calls Raptor House, a fusion of tribal percussion, trance vibes, hard house, and more with a distinctly Latin edge. In the Bandcamp age, Babatr’s productions have spread to the world’s DJs like wildfire, with names like Arca, Cardopusher, Nick Léon, Matias Aguayo, Swisha and more playing his sound and festival gigs around the world, from Primavera Sound to Boiler Room and beyond.
