GOOOOOSE is spiritual side project of Shanghai-based Han Han, a visual artist and software developer who is also the frontman of one of China’s most well-known experimental rock / electronica bands Duck Fight Goose and the owner of the experimental music label Miniless Recordings. His multi-instrumental approach mixes ambient soundscapes, heavily synthesized textures, and wild syncopations to create utterly futuristic sonic collages. This genre-exploding fusion of music, art, VR, fashion, and everything in between has lead to performances around the world, including Berlin’s CTM Festival, Uganda’s Nyege Nyege Fest, Austin’s SXSW and Krakow’s Unsound among many others. His recent releases including the 2019 EP ‘Pro Rata’ and the “Rusted Silicon” album earned him features and reviews in major publications like Resident Advisor, Dusted Magazine, and The Wire.
